I had an urgent C6-C7 ACDF in July 2015 when Dr. Michael Turner was with Frisco Spine. I had recently moved to Texas and I was anxious going to a neurosurgeon I didn’t know, but it was very important to find one who was fellowship trained in complex spine. Previously, I worked as an RN in the neurosurgery/Level I trauma intensive care units at large regional teaching hospital; before coming to Texas, I was a nurse practitioner for two complex spine fellowship trained neurosurgeons at a nationally renowned university medical center. I must say, both as a patient and a medical professional, Dr. Turner is top notch. He and his staff were so kind and caring, and they treated me very well. I felt safe in Dr. Turner’s hands and he saved me from being a quadriplegic in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Three and a half years later, I am still doing well without any assistance or use of a cane. I am forever grateful for Dr. Turner!
